Hardwood flooring that’s experienced wear and tear doesn’t always need to be replaced. Instead, it can be refinished. Refinishing improves wood that has become dull or scratched. If you desire a new color for your floors, we can also apply a hardwood stain.

Ayoub N&H takes care of everything, with a refinishing process that includes:

Moving basic items of furniture
Sealing off the area to reduce dust in rooms not being re-finished
"Dustless" sanding to remove old polyurethane and expose new surface of wood
Buffing the hardwood to smooth the surface
Post sanding clean-up to remove excess dust and debris
Applying hardwood stain if a certain color is desired
Applying oil or water-based polyurethane
More buffing to prepare surface for additional coats of polyurethane
Applying a second coating of polyurethane
During the second coating, new shoe molding will be installed, and transition strips are finished or replaced to match the hardwood
